1999 36 volt TXT Series cart will not go
Cart was running fine and then all of a sudden it stopped. the solenoid clicks and test out good, all the batteries test good (just over 6 volts per). Have 37.8 volts total pack and at the M and B- terminals. Have unplugged the 4 wire plug and inspected that, seems to be fine. Any other suggestions? I have not done any testing of the motor yet. Thanks for any help

Before you start replacing parts, I would start at battery postive and and check/clean every connection and test parts as you work your way back to battery -. You have a 23 year old cart that if there are origional cables, etc., they are bound to be a defective spot. Even if you spend thousands of dollars on new parts, it still will not run because of a bad wire/connection. You can go to the "Stickies" or search to find procedures for testing components. I had a similar problem back in 2019 with a 1998. On that thread I was helped out by several guys here & got it fixed. You might find some helpful stuff there. The title is "EZGO many things ok but something ain't". Date 10/21/19. Good luck  |
