36v no go
2005 EZGO TXT 36V
Batteries are up and solenoid clicks but won't spin tires? Was just barely moving when brought to me. He was having to wiggle the reverse lever to get it in reverse and I think he stripped shaft? Reason being when I held brake it sounded that way trying to give it gas at same time? What kind of test can I run with meter to check if motor and micros are good? |

Re: 36v no go
Ok batt voltage is 35.70v
@ batt side of solenoid 35.70v At b+ of controller 35.61v Does this mean resistor is bad? There are 2 resistors 1 on little wires and 1 on big wires?? |

Re: 36v no go
Well after charging for 6 hrs. I only got 36.54V So customer is bringing new batteries to try because that's only about 52%.
Either way it will be a new pack and give me time to retrace his steps and clean every wire and post terminal. Still not sure why it would work after tapping on solenoid? Maybe the jarring made a contact in the solenoid, or I also want to check the contactors on F/R switch. |

36v no go
If tapping the solenoid makes it run I’d start by replacing that and checking all connections. 6 hours is likely not long enough to fully charge a pack that’s that low. Let it charger much longer.

Re: 36v no go
Found a loose terminal on F/R switch may have been causing the reverse to jump and work sometimes and sometimes not. Replacing that as well as solenoid.
