Default EZGO 1990 Marathon front cowl

The front plastic/rubber cowl on my cart has broken off entirely.

I have purchased a re-placement cowl and going to start on the install soon.

It looks like it's no big deal but I think I heard somewhere say you have to remove the dash to be able to get to certain bolts and nuts.

Anybody have any info/tips on the installation of this part ?

if it's a big deal i may let a shop do it but if it's not I will try to do it myself

I've done it twice. Let the shop do it unless you have a lot of time and patience to spend on it.

I’ve done it a few times. It’s frustrating to get to the back side of those bolts but with patience you can. I think you have to remove the inner liner from the dash.

Thanks for the info.

I have a guy that works on golf carts at my club.

He installed a front leaf spring and new shocks on my cart about 6 months.
He is not a factory trained EZGO technician but I think he is pretty good.
He can do this repair but in interest of fair play.....how long should I tell him this job should take or how much $$ should I offer him to do this job ?

I wish I could find a video of this repair but have not been able to find one....yet
