Weird ITS throttle voltage problem
Hello All,
I'm in the process of replacing a Curtis controller on my mpt 1000. The new controller is a Curtis 1268. The problem I'm having is the output voltage coming from the throttle is way too high at 3.3v at 0% throttle. It should be around .5 v . This is causing throttle errors on the controller. I've tried 3 separate ITS inductors all output high voltage. Ive I removed the signal wire (white wire) it shows 0v when unplugged. Inductor still shows 3.3v on the output . The supply voltage from the controller is 5 v . If I bench test the inductors on 12v they show 0.5 v with no pedal. So that checks out. There doesn't seem to be any electrical interference or magnetic interference. What in the world am I doing wrong? |
