did i miss something or was the only response as far as solution to clean out the bowl to the carb?? i have the same problem on an 06 and cleaned out carb and bowl and still not running, only idling??

Welcome Vam,
This thread is @ 10 months old so if you don't get much response might help to start a new thread.

So, anywho, most carts don't start and Idle like a car, they just start and go when you push the pedal.
Are you sure it's not the starter spinning the motor that you think is running (Idling)?
First, Have you verified that you have spark?
Second, Pull fuel line off of carb and stick in bottle or can and spin it over to verify it's pumping gas to carb.
