Default Ez go st?

I have a lead on a gas cart for a pretty good price. From what I can get out of the owner, it sounds like a 2000+ ST.

Anybody have an experience with that model lifting it and/or upgrading to a big block? Anything I need to be cautious of?

2000 ST what? In 2000 they made the ST350 and I believe the ST480.

The 350 runs a Fuji/Robin 350 motor and you should have no problem replacing it with a big block if you choose to do so.

The 480 runs a 16 HP Briggs and is a remarkably nice car to drive.

BTW, either ST should already be lifted.

Thats for the reply Rabbit, as it turns out (like usual) the owner wasn't quite sure what they had. Turns out it was a 2000 Workhorse with the dump bed and a 295 cc Robin engine. I bought it anyway, I've been on the warpath waiting for the right thing to come along.

Now that I have it home and have really started to go over it I hope my pockets are as deep as I like to imagine! The left rear brakes are gone (not like out of adjustment - GONE as in they don't exist, and the hub on the right rear appears to have separated from the axle so even to say there are no brakes would be an overstatement. Oh well, that's what projects are all about, right?

I'll be spending ALOT of time here on BGW looking to draw on y'alls experience and ideas so I can get this thing cleaned up and running. Pics here, better ones coming.

Nice little cart to start your project with.
Maybe a little over the top but with a body change and it could look like this:
