Default 89 E-Z-GO 2 Cycle Marathon

Hi, I have a 89 EZGO Marathon 2 Cycle cart. I have been using the cart to pull a single jet ski to and from the lake. Things were going great until I noticed a slight 'slipping' feeling coming from the rear......Any ideas what this could be?? I'm also looking for a way to get more low end torque from it...any suggestions would be nice. I'm guess form the 'slipping' feeling one of the clutches are becoming wore. What clutch upgrades should I do or can I do on this cart?

check to be sure your axle nuts are really tight. they can and do slip.

as for torque i think you can use a shorter belt. someone with more knowledge will have to chime in. jim

Tom at CPP helped me go thru my clutches in my 92. I replaced the springs & ramps & the thing gets around great now.
