Re: PakTrakr battery monitor
Just thought I would follow up, I ordered and installed the PakTrakr for my 48 volt 2003 Club Car DS.
The PakTrakr is reading spot on with my hand held meter. Installation was quick and easy. Being able to monitor the entire pack and each individual battery is very nice, no more opening the seat and getting the meter out to check/verify voltage. The display is back-lit so it's easy to read during the day, looks good flush mounted in the dash too. It's far to early to tell reliability but so far the results are very impressive. I'll continue to spot check the PakTrakr against my meter for a couple of weeks to ensure it's giving an accurate reading. At $150 it might not be in everyone's "mod" budget but it sure is convenient. |

Here are a couple pic's I have with me. I will post a few of PakTrakr installed this evening.
Day 1, just purchased it Day 6, time to take it apart for the new body kit, PQ motor, and PakTrakr install Day 9, new body kit installed Up next... looking at a 400-500 amp controller, 4# wires all the way around, voltage reducer for lights and to add a stereo, and maybe a 3" lift. |
