Default Re: Alltrax 500A controller...cant get 100% throttle

Thanks guys, I appreciate everyones help. I have an 08 IQ. Did some messing around and noticed if I propped the front edge of the peddle assembly up (washers under the front bolts) Im able to get to 100% throttle reading. I know this is a 'ghetto' fix for the time being. Is there a more permanent fix (adjustment) I might be able to do? If not...I can deal with this Again, thanks for the help.

Seems strange that by only changing out the controller you suddenly have a pedal linkage issue . . .

I installed an altrax 400amp and had to extend the bracket to get the full throw of the pedal to make it work on an 87CC. I'm not sure if it's right but it works there was nothing there to start with i USED A pb6 THROTTLE .IF SOME ONE HAD A PICTURE OF HOW THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MOUNTED I'D APPRECIATE IT. THANKS JOE

It is a really weird situation. Before i allowed for more pedal range of motion, the pedal would hit the floor panel and Id only register around 88-89% throttle. With the "adjustment", Im getting all the way to 100% and topping out at 32mph. Maybe I wasnt getting full throttle before my mods...shoulder shrug. Anyways, im happy with the results! Thanks for everyones input

i just drilled the hole for the ball-link a little closer to the fulcrum and filed some material from the microswitch plate until it would clear. i get full 100% travel with about a ½" of deadband at the start and about a ½" deadband at the end. no extensions, no rod modifications, no bell cranks, etc...

sorry for the crap photo... its the best i've got at the moment.
