Default My weekend projects

I serviced 4 carts this weekend, two brake jobs, one battery replacement, and one complete makeover including lift, tires, brush guard, DCX500, solenoid and 2 gauge cabling...

Here's the before and after

Really makes a difference on that old DS! I wish I had that much time on a weekend! These kids are about to kill me. I have to go to work to catch a break! What speeds you getting on the upgrades and what kind of batteries did you slap in?

Yes, tires are worn, but you could get them cheap.

As far as batteries that was for a older resistor cart, so we just went with Energizers from Sam's Club.

The lifted cart has Trojans. That cart already had a PlumQuick modified stock motor, so ran about 23 mph stock with stock controller. We put on an AllSport Super Sport 6" lift, 23" tires, then installed a DCX500 amp controller, 2 gauge crimped and solder welding cable and a 400 amp solenoid. It'll run about 24-25mph.
