Default Controller question

What does this mean in the spec's of the spm alltrax controller
Peak Amps: 400 (460 when programmed)
2-Minute Amps: 400
5-Minute Amps: 320
60 Minute amps: 280

Basically, it means that you can run it at 400 amps for only two minutes, then it needs to cool down. I don't mean you have to stop, but hopefully within two minutes, you've climbed the steepest hill, and are now able to drive with less than 400 amps. 280 amps is pretty much a continuous rating. Depending on how hilly your area is, this may or may not matter.

For a controller, it's all about heat dissipation. My guess is that it is a conservative number, assuming you're driving in the HOT desert. However, I wouldn't push my luck.
