to start with I had to remove the driver side of the existing bracket by cut it flush with motor support spacers will be added on opposite side on mount to hold in place.
Had to bend tenshing bracket to fit new location. and purchase a new belt for this project a F433 about 1" shorter than the stock belt.

also removed some Al from fly wheal side of motor for stator clearances

What do mean ( also removed some Al from fly wheal side of motor for stator clearances ) where is the clearances problem? I wonder if I will have the same?

Sorry about the bad luck!!!!

This is stock block versus cut back block for starter

this is of stock block of bravo
bravo 11-20 005.jpg

this is the block after being cut back and a piece of heavy aluminum added.

the firs thing I tryed was a ail tool cut off grinder did not like the cut.
tryed a porter band saw hand held relay liked that cut the best strait an smooth.

still pulling hair out I think Mosley because not tootle over the affect of flu !
Just not bouncing back and still in fog.

I got the motor in for the last time today and wired it up and checked compression. 175 lbs real good I think, So I put a plug in and put fuel lines on and it fired up, in forward and reverse, I did not even try the bravo magneto. I stayed with the g1 mag. I need to mount the fuel pump and button a few thing up. I steal need a exhaust. I think I mite try the stock g1 exhaust for now.

Hope you find cheap parts for your cart.

Glad to hear you got it started ! have had a chance to drive it yet? Are you running a bravo fuel pump? also my bravo has no timing marks at all strange. Due you have a pitchers of your fly wheel side timing marks. I may have to approximate setting point. Keep up progress reports I need it right now I am in the dumps.

No have not drove it yet, steal using g1 pump, but just ran it for 10 15 seconds no exhaust on it. No pictures, my motor has a mark on it, I used (Big-Blockin' the G1) pictures. But I think if it is like the g1, Some of guys turn it advance as far as it cane go so it runs better forward but dogy in reverse. So hopefully you my have a lot of room to work with.

After searching the net for information about how to remove the G1 governor. One writer said you should remove counter weights located inside the differential because higher stress due to speed may cause the governor weights to brake loss. I could not locate the weights but there was a lot of metal shavings in the bottom of casing. so I think he was wight.
