The solenoid must click to test the controller....
The solenoid is activated when a + and - are present at the 2 small terminals .

DO some testing on the solenoid & see if you can get it to operate with a test or jumper wire bringing in a missing activation + or -.

A quick overview of the solenoid is :
The solenoid is a HD on/off switch or Contactor
the connection is made /broken between the 2 large terminals. The 2 small terminals are the activation circuit. Typically one small terminal will have a constant negative connection to the pack. When Positive power is applied to the second small terminal a magnetic field is created and the contact is drawn up to make connection between the 2 big posts. When power from either side of the activation circuit is removed then contact is released and the spring pushes it away interrupting the circuit ...It doesn't matter which small terminal is negative or positive on the activation circuit so long as you have both....

You should be doing all of this testing with the cart on jacks so if it starts unexpectedly, it is not a runaway.

With the cart on jacks, does it run with the little negative jumper on the solenoid? Remember key on, in gear ...... let us know.

Key on & cart in gear.
Put your test leads on B+ and B- of the controller. press the gas . should read full pack voltage.
Now put the test leads on B- and M-. should get full pack voltage when the solenoid just clicks then voltage reading should drop as the peddle is pressed.

With the solenoid jumper on so that the solenoid is activated retry the controller output test. If the voltage does not go down and all of the high amperage cables and F&R are in good shape then you have a bad controller.

OK well the voltage did not drop when doing the controller output test..

However after carefully reading your directions I realized that when I pressed the pedal the solenoid should have clicked and did not...The only time the solenoid clicks is when I attach the jumper or take the jumper off ....not sure if that means anything but hopefully that means there's still a chance for the controller...

As far as the high amp cables they're less than a year old and dont seem to be damaged any should I test them somehow??

The F/R switch dont appear to have any damge to it visualy I'll test it if you think I need to just let me know the best way to go about it
Thx again Scotty

Yes, don't make me get a stick after you...
