Longer Range from Battery Upgrade?
I have brand new Trojan T605s. What kind of estimated longer range could I expect from switching to a higher amperage battery?

Re: Longer Range from Battery Upgrade?
If your average usage is about 75A, you'll get the following increases over T-605 batteries.
T-105 = +10% T-125 = +26% T-145 = +38% Adding more T=605 batteries to your pack (increasing voltage) will also yield more range, but controller and solenoid and charger will have to be upgraded. I chose to go to 7 high capacity 6V batteries for extended range. |
