Cushman Golfster Brakes
Does anyone know how to keep the Cushman Golfster brakes from sticking? My pedal barely has any return after its depressed. Currently it has two large rusted spring on the rear arm, connected to differential. But still no relief. Any ideas?

Re: Cushman Golfster Brakes
Take everything a part and lube the cables good. Also where the pedal pevits lube it real good and put new springs on it.

Re: Cushman Golfster Brakes
Mine was doing the same thing. I removed the brake cables and they were rusted solid inside the guide.

Re: Cushman Golfster Brakes
That method would work if it had cables. Unfortunately mine are direct rod driven brakes. Pinion brake at that.

Re: Cushman Golfster Brakes
OK then the only thing it can be is the pivet point on the brake pedal. Take that a part and clean it and grease it good. Take the rear hubs off and do a complete brake job as well.
