Default Re: Loosing voltage on DC reducer

Ratings are for output power. If it's 30A, then it should be 360W (12V * 30A) but that's often the peak, for brief periods, not continuous.

At 30A out at 12V, you'd see 10A in from 36V, not counting losses.

Correct, I goofed and was using input voltage.
