Re: Trailer hitch broke frame
What's that bolt to. I need something that I can pull a small 8 foot trailer when I do yard work.

Re: Trailer hitch broke frame
They only give you one bolt, you should buy another and use two. It slides in the rear hitch plate on DS carts (maybe Precedents too?) and bolts to that. There is already one hole from the factory, and you have to drill another for the second bolt. Mine works perfect for pulling around a small flatbed to work around the yard, as well as moving around a jon boat when I mow.

Re: Trailer hitch broke frame
I took some pictures of the hitch. You have to drill another hole to use two bolts. They only give you one, but with two it's stronger. You can put whatever hitch size you need.

Re: Trailer hitch broke frame
..so all the weight from the ball puts torque on that "L" shaped piece of aluminum running width wise across the cart?? hopefully that black rear platform offers support also.

Re: Trailer hitch broke frame
I have 3 club cars all with the same broken welds. I had one of them fixed so far and asked my welder to go over any other weak welds. I've got a carryall that's getting fixed next.
