Can you recommend a good charger?
I recently bought a 2007 EzGo TXT with a 36 volt Power Wise charger. I'm in the process of converting it to 48 volts and wanted some feedback on the charger I should buy. There seems to be a lot of options (some cheap, some expensive). What's a moderately priced charger ($250-$350 range) that I can depend on?

Re: Can you recommend a good charger?
Those are nice chargers and a very good price. I like how they keep the battery pack at full charge after days of not using it. Wish my charger did that. How many amp does the 48v charger charge at?

Re: Can you recommend a good charger?
Looks like the DPI is 17 amps at 48v.
https://dpipower.com/store/48v-17a-a...arger-441.html Another quality charger is Quick Charge. It's available in either on-board or portable in either 15 amp or 25 amp. Here's the manufacture site. Wish a sponsor would start selling them too. It's available on the net cheaper then msrp if you look around. http://www.quickcharge.com/ |

Re: Can you recommend a good charger?
My Lestronic II charges at 25 amp. It's also a good charger but pricy.

Re: Can you recommend a good charger?
The DPI and QC go into forever float charge after normal charge cycle, a very nice feature. Just leave them plugged in.
