Default Controller Help

Can I hook up a Curtis 1204 Controller 48 volt in a Ruff and Tuff

The controller I removed has

B-
B+
A2
VM
And a 8 pin plug with only 4 wire used

The Curtis Controller has

B-
B+
M-
And a spot where the A2 goes but no stud there
And it has 1,2.3 where wires connect to.

I know 1 is for the key switch and 2 and 3 are Forward and Reverse Switch.
This cart has a Flip switch for F/R not the handle one.

I have wire diagram on the Ruff and Tuff but don't know how to put on here.

When you click on 'Post Reply' you get this screen.
Click on the paperclip on the top line and it opens a new window
that lets you 'browse' on your computer.
That's where you select the picture or file you want.

It take it that you already have the 1204 controller.

You've got the inputs to the three pins wrong.
1 is the keyswitch input, but 2 & 3 are the throttle inputs.
The F/R switch feed the F/R contactor assemble rather than the controller.
The orange wire (1/2 speed) isn't connected.

B- and B+ terminals match up.
VM equates to M- on the 1204
The A2 doesn't exist, so bolt the two cables that connected to it together and insulate them.

Ok so put M- and A2 together.

1 pin for key switch
2 throttle
3 throttle

So use the wires from the ITS for 2.3

I have 4 wires that run to controller,
1 pink Key switch
1 Red
1 Green and Red
1 Green

Wires of ITS
1 Pink
1 Red and White
1 Green
1 Green and Red

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Connect the heavy cables on the old B+ to the new B+
Connect the heavy cables on the old B- to the new B-
Connect the heavy cables on the old VM to the new M-
Connect the heavy cables that originally went to the old A2 together and insulate the connection

Connect the pink wire to Pin-1
Connect the green and green/Red wires to Pins 2 & 3
Leave Red/white wire disconnected
