Default G16 Ignition relay

How do you check the ignition relay on a G16 Yamaha cart??My cart is not firing??

Unplugging the relay will allow for ignition system operartion even with the pedal not pressed. All the relay does is ground-out the TCI to kill the spark. Just unplug it to test the rest of the system, this will not create any loads on the battery, because the TCI works independent of battery power.
