G1 Crankshaft oil seal replacement tips?
Trying to change the oil seals on my G1. Ruined two seals on each side trying to install them. When I press the seal into the hole, the lip gets caught on the edge. Is there a trick or technique that I am missing? Or do I just need to be more careful? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Try putting a little bit of 2 cycle oil on them. Then get yourself a block of wood and tap them in using a hammer....working the seal in top to bottom, left to right until the seal is seated completely in the casing. Getting them started square is key.

Smallblock: I don't know if they are OEM, so they probably aren't. Does it make a difference? If so, where do I get OEM seals? Thanks.
