Default 1993 ezgo 295 motor help!!!!!

Hello, I am new to this forum, as well as golf carts. I have a 1993 ezgo cart with the 295 engine. The engine started knocking this weekend and it seems like it is time for a rebuild. I was wondering if there was an upgrade to get more power from the engine besides going with a big block. Will a 350-375 engine fit on there without too many problems? Where do I find one if so? I like the idea of keeping it working like a golf cart ( not having it start with a key) The cart is lifted and has bigger tires on it. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

(706) 533-2698 .... That's the phone number for CT Rebuilds (ask for Carrie, and tell her Dale Zaccard from Wisconsin sent You) - they make a 375cc Performance Engine that is a HUGE step up from the stock motor, their work is excellent, everything bolts right up and it's about a 2hr swap front to back - and as to price, $675 absolutely CAN'T be beat, especially with a warranty. I have put several of them in carts and can't say enough good things about them :)
