Default My Taylor Dunn B2-54 project

Hey everyone,
I finally got the Taylor Dunn flatbed i was wanting.I drove to Cleveland,OH on wednesday night after work and picked it up at HGR industrail sales. It was a bout a 6 hour drive with it being at night and foggy. We got to HGR and they loaded it on my trailer with a fork truck. We then fought traffic all the way back home to Indiana.I was a half hour late getting back to work.No sleep for 2 days, but it was worth it.
I had to give $400 for it.It wouldn't move.batteries were dead.
I got it home charged them up and sure enough the sprocket on the motor was stripped.I bought a new box of chain.took the old sprocket and turned off the old teeth in my nieghbors lathe and turned a couple of other sprockets to fit over the old one and welded them on.Put it back together with some new batteries and hauled it out to the campground.
We had a ball driving it around and got lots of interest in it.Now I just need to clean it up get rid of all the extra crap on it and do some modifications then paint it.
I will get some pics of it for you guys to see soon.

Well I got that honk'n push bumper pulled off today.Sure took a bunch of wieght off the front.Greased up the front end.Used it to haul some tools out to fix some fence in a pasture.Definatly gonna have to look into some pnuematic type tires for it.Got a couple of ideas on that, but will have to wait and see how the money goes.
