Default ezgo lighting

i know i am asking a lot of crazy questions here but i am new and just wanting good info. i am wondering how to install lights on my 07 ezgo. what all is needed and do i have to upgrade any thing besides whats involved with the lights?

no dont think so i just got a new light kit and installed it they look good all you do is use the template provided cut out with a jig sale and screw it in hook up lights to battery

You can hook them up to a pair of batteries, or you can setup a voltage reducer and put in a fuse block so that you can add more accessories later on.

i like the idea of adding a 12 volt battery i have a unlimited supply of deep cycle alpha batteries that we use for keeping the cable system up when the power goes out. do you think that would work? and would i just run them to that battery and put a switch in between the lights and battery
