With the engine you just put in you need this igniter
I re read your post and seen you didn't change out the old igniter

Ezgo has all the pieces you need.
Hear is the kit. They should have the individual pieces.

Thanks ski-doo583. I didn't need the whole kit. The muffler was included with the used engine I bought.
I bought a new style ignitor and this jumper harness.

I'm hoping I'm good to go now. I'll find out when the parts get here. One thing I didn't do is get anything for the oil pressure sensor. It wasn't hooked to anything in my old engine so I hope I can get by without it now.

The oil pressure sensor will not cause the engine to not run so don't worry about that. I would take a volt meter and check the Polarity of your battery and make sure you don't have the battery cables mixed up. I've seen this many times,
I used to work for ezgo and now own my own cart business

I picked up an aftermarket replacement CDI Ignitor on an auction site for about $70 and the adapter harness at golf cart part store for about $20. I found that the old pre MCI muffler wouldn't work but that was never a problem for me as the used engine I bought came with the muffler. I'm a happy camper now. I hope everything works out OK.
I've learned more about golf carts today than I actually wanted to know.
Thanks again for your help.
Sorry about mentioning places that I bought what I needed. I guess that I should have read the rules a little more thoroughly.
Thanks everyone for the help here. I'll post as soon as I get the parts I ordered installed.

OK. Thanks to some help from people here I got the newer engine up and running.

Would it be worth anything to put my older 295 Robin that needs to be rebuilt for sale? It does run and is complete, just smokes. It has the clutch, starter/generator, muffler and the old ignitor that I swapped out. Anything I could get out of it would help me recoup some of my costs. My other alternative would be to keep everything for spare parts.

Thanks again.
