Default Rear 6" lift on 2011 gas txt

My lift came with no instructions. I cannot figure out how to install the rear lift kit. It hits the brakes due to the brakes being on top axle instead of underneath

Need some more info.....

What Lift kit did you get? Manufacture?

Which parts are specifically "Hitting?"

What brakes are on there? Stock? Ausco disc?

Pics?

Why are the brakes on top of the axle? On my 2005 TXT, they are on the bottom of the axle. If they were on the bottom, would that bracket still hit?
Ya might have to switch sides with those brake brackets, flip em under.

Never seen an ezgo were the brakes operated from the top, yep gota switch the brakes
side to side and unhook the cables from the brackets on the frame for more length.

Take the large nut off the center of the hub (holds the hub on the axle) remove the hub, disconnect the brake cable,
then remove the 4 bolts holding the backing plate to the axle housing, move to the other side and reverse process.. easy huh?

Caution,,, I don't know the torque on the large axle nut, but it has to be pretty tight
or soon the axle will strip the splines on the hub.

Do I move the hub to the other side or just moving the brake plate to the other side.
