2014 TXT 13hp kawasaki no spark

Hi, as the title says I have a 2014 TXT 13hp kawasaki motor in it.

I pulled the wire off and put a spark tester in it and it 100% has no spark. The issue is do you actually have to pull the motor out to get the cover off that covers up the ignition coil or is there any way to test it without taking that cover off.

yes you do but before you do that check the connection on the wire going into the cover that powers your coil I have a lot of those motors and haven't had to replace a coil yet even the ones that have rusted ugly looking coils are still firing good but if you are getting voltage (very little voltage) to the wire that powers your coil then you have to atleast remove your motor mount bolts and lift the motor out a few inches to get to the two or three bolts in the cover on the bottom and remove the cover you also have to remove the start/gen to be able to lift the motor and exaust pipe
