G29 Strong Gas smell while running

I know that gas smell is normal with gas carts, but G29 seems more than what I remember with rental carts. It is cranked up so I know that is part of the cause, I just dont want to fume out my sporting clay partners during the heat of the summer on the course. The cart runs great out of the gate, very jumpy on the start and is hitting 20-22mph I think. Sensitive gas throttle and not as smooth as I would like. This is a newly purchased cart so need to probably tune to my liking without killing the top end speed.

So in short this is what tuning I want to achieve -

1. 22MPH
2. smooth throttle and no need to be fast out of the gate because normal use will be on sporting clay course.
3. Minimize gas smell as much as possible yes I know it will not go away completely, just looking for the minimum

I've had many gas carts and never had a noticeable smell of gas... Is it carb or fuel injected?
