Brown Wire on Stiop Switch G1 1984
Anyone know where it gets it's power from? I am just about color blind and have to count on others to Identify wires. I can tell the white, black white and red and am assuming the other is the brown. Mine does not have power at all. Fuses both positive and negative are new and good, battery has 14.8v in it and is also new. New cable ends that are clean and tight. Whats next to look at?
I have re read this post http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...turn-over.html And it states that there are 2 wires from the stop switch. Mine has 4 wires. Just like this diagram shows.https://www.cunninghamgolfcar.com/Im...aha%20G1A5.pdf So what wire is in place of the "Brown wire" As my wife identified my wires as red, white, black/white and black. |

I think I may have found the problem. Where is the ground at? I have no power to anything so I am thinking it is a ground issue..

The entire cart should be grounded, at least my '86 is grounded that way. I think the original configuration was that ground was taken to chassis after the fuse near the solenoids. I ran another ground from the battery to the frame to beef up things up, though.

I am going to work on that some today.. Just feels like 97 today instead of 107 like the past few. I just want to crank it up then I can tidy everything. Tuff buying something and it not run... |

I thought grounding to the frame on a golf cart was a big no no? that said there is a small ground to frame on the G1 by the battery box
