Default G14 Comically Large Plume of White Smoke with Governator

So I finally adjusted the steering box set screw so my cart isn't a terror over 10mph. It has 22" tires and maxes out at 25mph.

That's when the governor kicks in and it shuts down and puts out a massive amount of white smoke.

What's it doing when it does that?

Burning oil, or coolant, lol, excess fuel is black smoke.
