gas golf cart not charging
I have a 2002 g22 that doesn't appear to be charging, I have a brand new generator on the cart and a new battery. It sits around 12.5v but when I jack up the rear end and hit the pedal it never gets above 12.6. I was wondering how to test the voltage regulator and figured out I have a 4 pin automotive is what it seems to be called. When I disconnected it though I only see 3 wires going into it, red, green, white. Are there supposed to be 4 or just three and if there is supposed be 4 where should it go go i can replace it and test the voltage regulator. Thank you for your time
