Default 301cm to357 on g16

I have a 2001 g16 compression is 160(good or bad)?
Can I switch the 301 to a357 without gear modification?

160 lbs of compression is pretty good in my opinion,I swapped a 301 to a 357 in a 1995 g16 and it was a direct fit .
