Default G9 Brake pedal sticking?

Good afternoon all!
I am helping a friend work on his Yamaha G9 and for some reason the brake does not return to the "home" location one pressed. Can someone please show me a picture, if possible, of the underside and top side of the pedal? Also, any thoughts on what it may be? I did notice that when the parking brake is pressed a little pin is sticking below the brake pedal not letting it go back, but that isn't causing it from totally returning. I am certain a spring is missing or something. I will try to get a pic if I can.

It's probably the return spring, they rust out and break all the time. Very cheap fix.

Thanks for the info slonomo. Here are a few videos that I took this morning to show how the brake doesn't return to the "home" position.

Also, I put the 1 video on here to show that the gas pedal is not releasing the parking brake. Would that be caused by the return spring as well? If so, I see there is a bolt the runs through it. Do I just pull that bolt and then replace the spring? I see that it is extremely rusty.

Agree with Slonomo... Yamaha part number for spring is 90508-40007-00 or Nivel aftermarket is 4332-1. the bolt can be a pain to get out if it is rusty but the repair itself is pretty cheap. Spring retails for $8.
