![]() I have a 96 club car. It slows down when you push the gas all the way down. When you let up on it a little it speeds up. All of the batteries have been load tested and check out fine. I have cleaned all of the cables also. It also slows down when going up any kind of incline. I live in southeast Georgia so there is no major hills.

![]() It is typical for any electric cart to slow when climbing a hill.... it sounds like your speed indicator (MCOR) is either not adjusted correctly at the linkage or it is crapping out. It may travel too far beyond the correct output or the MCOR is starting to go bad. There are tests for the mocor output on the site... try the search.

![]() Check your "GAS PEDAL" bushings for wear. I found that my 1996 was worn enough to cause only about 1/2 throttle. You might not be getting full power if unit is not rotating properly? My 1996 has the same problem but I am waiting for the OLD STYLE MCOR to go bad and then the NEW KIT comes with all that I will need to replace anyway.
