Tow/Maintence Switch
36V EZGO DCS Cart.
Every time I turn the key off then back on, I have to lift the seat and flip the tow switch off and then back on with the key on. As soon as I do that, I can hear the solenoid click and everything is good to go.. until I turn the key off again. Everything was working before it sat for awhile over the winter. Anybody got any ideas as to why it’s like this? |

Re: Tow/Maintence Switch
Sounds like you have a HPD error (High pedal disable). That is a safety feature so the cart won't take off unless the pedal has been returned to the full upright position.
Try pulling the accelerator pedal all the way up when cart is misbehaving. If it works, clean the pedals pivot area. Might need a new spring. If it isn't the pedal position, the pedal switch might be bad, or the contacts are staying closed for some reason. |

Re: Tow/Maintence Switch
When I was a cart tech I have seen this complaint as a result of controller failure where a new controller fixed the problem. But check what JB is suggesting first - it's a lot cheaper.
