"Drive" factory headlight not secure enough
As I go through our recent new purchase, I am finding small things that are now starting to drive me crazy. I guess my OCD is finally starting to come out in full force. One item I have noticed is the headlights and tail lights are installed with these **** push-in plastic body clips. I have checked a few auto parts stores for replacements, but none of them carry anything suitable. Has anyone else that owns a new model run into this problem and if so what did you do to remedy it? I want to find some type of flush mount screws that are stainless or aluminum. Thinking of stopping by "Fasenal" this afternoon on the way home. Hopefully the pic I loaded with show up. Thanks.

I'm not a fan of the new style plastic screw rivets either. Before we would use some nice black hex head screws (at the upper and lower point of the plastic basil) rather then the back side brackets, but now the big holes are there Maybe Fasenal has some rubber metal theaded inserts and some nice screws to afix them better for you.

Re: "Drive" factory headlight not secure enough
I checked Fastsenal and they have a variety, just have to find some that will work with my application. Either way, I still have that hole drilled into the body. They don't look bad, just not a big fan of the plastic; especially if we dare to take it to the hunting club and snag a bush. I don't have to worry too much about that now, since momma has a tight hold on where her new baby is driven. Can't say I blame her too much, but the new will wear off and me and the boys can be a little more daring. Here are the flares I put on this afternoon. They actually make a big difference, visual and practical. If I find something that will replace the plastic stuff, I'll post. Thanks.

Thanks db. We had the choice between black, blue and this "Moonstone Metallic" and she went with the Moonstone (silver in my book). Mainly because you don't see too many of that color where we are at.

The fender flares look good. The one pic there not there and in the next pic they are there. Good looking cart.

Re: "Drive" factory headlight not secure enough
Thanks G1-G9. The boys have a couple of ideas for a few more tweeks to the cart, so we will see. They want to go with some lights under the body and I have also been reading some threads on here about a light kit that is remote. Still researching more on that, but thanks again for the compliment.
