Default G1 new belt now a little jerky on start

Just wondering what to look for if im missing something on the clutch. new belt was for sure wider but to spec. just off of a start its a little more jerky then the old belt. thanks!

Check and clean primary clutch use a dry lithium lub that won't collect dust had same symptom with mine just needed a cleaning and some lube

Just remove the primary bolt and clean the inside of it or are you talking the faces where the belt rides?

If clutch is clean.....that is normal for new belt it will wear in after an hour of use or so. New rubber is sticky you can feel it, little dust and it will be fine. If not then you may have an issue with the clutches.

take out the bolt and pull of the sliding sheave stationary will stay clean out inside and lube and lube up shaft that sliding sheave "slides on" again use a dry lithium lube to prevent future dust from sticking to everything
