I'm considering doing the same thing with my 2007 BBB Classic. Can you give us an update if you actually did this or not?

Did you end up doing this conversion?

no, I'm actually going to go get my BBB from Tracker this week. They have been trying to get parts for it for several months now. Mainly the warranted factory recall throttle switch.
Any way I'm going to wait to hear from Alltrax to see what kind of fix they have come up with on the controllers, before I just quit on this and sell it.

byoung, I am having to do this same project. Can you help me understand how you even got to that point? Where the CV is off. Right now my CV boot is destroyed and I am trying to determine what is the source of the noise.

I believe the bearing is a 6905-2rs. The snap rings and seals from a standard txt axle bearing kit ought to work on it. Bearing that comes out the front is 9mm wide and the backs are 12mm wide. The bearing surface on the shaft itself is thicker in diameter than the stock txt shaft.. get some good measuring calipers and surf the web for measurements
