Default 2000 EZGO TXT Rear Differential Oil Check Plug

Hi All,

I changed the fluids in my cart yesterday and found the OIL CHECK PLUG (Part #26768G01) bolt for the differential was broken off. I need to figure out how to get what's left in there out and then where to get a replacement.

I was able to find the rear assembly part numbers online, but they don't seem to be available any longer. Can anyone tell me the size needed? I should be able to get a bolt anywhere, but don't know the size needed.

Also, any tips on extracting the bolt other than left handed drill or easy out?

Thanks,

Kevin

Happy to report I was able to extract the bolt. I lucked out big time. I was preparing to center punch the remainder of the bolt in order to attempt a left handed drill bit extraction, when I noticed it was very loose inside and I was able to spin it out using the center punch as a sort of pick until enough was exposed to grab with a pair of vice grips.

Now I just need to find a replacement gasket/washer and bolt so I can finish the simple fluid change.

That's what I ended up doing. I couldn't find the exact length (12mm) in flange bolt style, so I ended up using a 16mm with a sealer type washer. Should be "good enough".

Thanks for all the input!
