Just realized that my picture is oriented wrong. The fuel tank would be now to the left of the picture.

There have been several stock carts on here with two filters. I don't know why EZGO did that. I only run one before the carburetor.

Thanks, Cart Around. Which one of the filters would you use? The big yellow one or the smaller filter with stone inside?

I don't know if it matters. I run a small one for 1/4" hose from the auto parts store.

A stock cart would have the small filter between tank and pump and large filter between pump and carb

Wow, You have an electric fuel pump. I didn't know they did that in 86, I see in your other pic there's a block-off bolt in the crankcase pulse hole where my pump is. Pretty cool of EZGO to thread that hole... Next time I have a pump problem I'm going with electric

It looks to me that the shiny thing screwed into the pump is a filter.

That's what I thought. I am wondering if my cart has an aftermarket fuel pump. Cause I can't find that kind of fuel filter anywhere on golf cart parts sites.
