engine rebuild question
The question I have is that I am rebuilding a Yamaha g2 engine. the rebuild kit only came with one valve stem oil seal is this correct, I would figure both valves would have seals. help

The seal will go on the intake side. Put one on the exhaust valve and it would be destroyed in no time with the heat.

Thanks smallblock450sl just wanted to be sure, the engine was smoking bad and it looks like it was rebuilt recently but they never changed the stem seal, i hope this will fix the smoking issue.
