1988 is the last year of the 2 pg. The clutches and belt go side to side. The 3 pg clutches and belt go front to back. The spark plug is on top.

What is the different between the 3 pg engine and the 2 pg engine?
Are some of the parts interchangeable between the 2 engine??

Is there a good junk yard for golf cart's that would have older parts

Thank You

I think you have to have a few posts for it to show up Rod, but we have a for sale section for carts and parts.

Do you have any pictures of the 851? I have a nice 71 3000, had it for 31 years.

Rod..Marthon is an ezgo model, after that was the TXT, they had a Textron badge on front, its the company that owns EZGO, among other companies like Arctic Cat, Bell Helicopter and Lycoming Engines..
