Lightening Strike damage G29
Had a lightening strike at my home recently. Unfortunately stock yamaha g29 was plugged in to the charger at the time and was among the casualties. The cart was in tow mode and the key was in the off position. Following the strike, the cart was totally dead. I replaced the controller with a known good unit and also the tow/run switch. At that point, solenoid would energize briefly when switching from tow to run and would put power to the controller. Also reverse warning horn now works.(BTW, solenoid is good and batteries are charged and are fine.). However, no solenoid engagement when pressing the accelerator. Replaced the motor speed controller. No go. Suspected throttle position indicator. The wiring from the indicator to controller is fine, but the position indicator tested bad. Replaced it. Still - no go. I suppose the next step is to test the motor itself (i need a procedure on what to jumper to where). But i am wondering if there is something that i'm missing. Ideas / Suggestions would be appreciated.

The damage should be covered by your homeowners insurance.
