Default ?? about converting 36 to 48!!

another question about converting as i dont want to hijack anybodys thread!! i have an older melex cart(resistor coil) and am thinking of going to 48 volts.. i am sure i am going to have to replace the solenoid on it, but what about the "wiper arm and board" .. will they have to be replaced, or will they be able to handle the juice!! i hear all the time about changing the controllers, but this doesnt have one, i dont guess!! help me please, need the speed!!!

You won't have to touch the wiper assembly unless something is bad.
