Re: 2002 PDS to 4x4 build
scott is a heck of a nice guy. teaches, or did, engineering at one of the colleges in ny. met him last summer and drove one of his carts that belongs to good friend up there. that thing would go anywhere. good luck.

Re: 2002 PDS to 4x4 build
Just a quick update, got in a box of parts so I had something to do today!
(thanks to Tungpo1 & the good folks at ECC) Got the new input shaft installed in the trans.(old 1 still has part of motor shaft stuck on it.Motor was frozen to it and I had to destroy it to get it off!) Also got the trans. oil pan cleaned and painted along with the bolts for it. It's going to have to cool off some out there b4 I go back out! 96 and no breeze sux! |

Re: 2002 PDS to 4x4 build
Just wondering,do you remember whether the cart you drove was series or PDS? I've been researching his site and noticed his carts have regenerative braking. Is that indicative of a shunt type system?

Re: 2002 PDS to 4x4 build
Don't know if anyone is watching, but here are a few more pics of todays progress. Got the back end built up,then started on front end.Note,an extra hand or two comes in real handy! It's a pain getting all the holes lined up and bolts started, but so far so goodP1010004.jpg
