4. Bring a load tester and test each battery
5. Batteries are usually stamped with a manufacturing date (Trojans usually have the stamp on the post). Usually a letter followed by a number. The letter corresponds to the month (a=January, b=February etc) and the number is the year. If you're looking at 3+ year old batteries consider them dead as they could go at any time.
6. Open the batteries and check the water level. Exposed Plates usually means the owner wasn't taking good care of the batteries and shorter life should be expected.
7. The two types of ezgos you'll probably run into will be the TXT (most common) and the PDS. Both are good, the PDS has a programmable controller and demands more money.

$1400 is fair for a good cart with decent batteries but nobody is more negotiable then when you're standing in their driveway with cash and a trailer.

Good luck.
Nicely put Razor.

Ranger, where do you live? I live on the coast of SC. Rust is the single biggest issue Iv'e seen. Take a flashlight, and crawl under the best you can. push the cart by hand (back and forth) listen for any noise/grinding.

$1400 is a fair price around here
