Controller for DCS??
The controller on one of our carts Serial # 1250809 Mfg code (date of mfg) B200 (Feb 2000) DCS type seems to be shot. It will only go in reverse even if the lever is in the forward position.
Will this controller, NCX300 DCS Alltrax Motor Controller Non-programmable DCX300, Its on ebay, work for this cart. Thanks |

Ordered the NCX300 DCS Alltrax today and will plan to install it this weekend. No plans to upgrade the cart, just want it to run well and this controller seemed like a good choice. I will report on the installation and performance.

Update on this issue. I installed the new controller, noted above, this weekend. The installation was fairly straight forward and the instructions were adequate. You have to remove the bracket holding the solenoid and then the assembly bolts directly to the controller. This is not in the instructions but is obvious once you start installation. As others have noted, the cover will not fit on the new (bigger) controller so you have to cut off the bottom couple of inches and then it fits just fine.
The new controller works just fine and the cart runs well. |
