ouch
Wife and the dog were riding around today and this is what I got to come home to. Luckily she wasn't hurt. It coulda been bad if she was on the street at speed. Occasionally the bottom nut will walk down and get loose. I haven't checked it in a few weeks and it finally fell off. Re-assembled and added lock tite. Hopefully this will solve my problem.

Re: ouch
Is there enough thread left after installing the nut to drill for a Cotter pin?

Re: ouch
Thats a good idea Kab. There's at least 5/8's of thread below the nut. And thanks for the.compliment on the pup. She's going tomorrow along with her sister to a new home.

I'm here to help, man! Heck, if you can dig up a castle nut with a matching thread, you're golden! You can end that problem permanently.
