Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
I have been told that to save the batteries that I should not only switch the key off but also leave the forward/reverse selector straight up. Any thruth to that?

Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
With the key off it shouldn't matter where the lever is...and for some more info for our BGW members on bubbling:
The hydrogen reacts with the lead sulfate to form sulfuric acid and lead, and when most of the sulfate is gone, hydrogen rises from the negative plates. The oxygen in the water reacts with the lead sulfate on the positive plates to turn them once again into lead dioxide, and oxygen bubbles rise from the positive plates when the reaction is almost complete. |

Do you hook the red wire jumper to check the micro switch to the 36 volt positive or 12 volt positive. I have the same problem with a 2000 txt standard series.

Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
If you mean the reed switch test...you go from the microswitch on the FnR to your main battery positive.

Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
Camaroluvz28, you refer to the main battery positive, is this taken at the 36 volt side of the battery's or from the 12 volt switch side of the batteries?
Thanks reno1 |

There seams to be no power to anything but the lights. I don't want to burn something out if I apply the wrong voltage.
