"Excel Braking" question
I have a 2009 Precedent with PH serial number so it is an Excel model. What exactly does the "Excel Braking" feature do? Is this motor braking just to improve driving control for things such as going down hills, or is this actually regenerative braking that is charging your batteries?
I will be hooking up with a hand held to input Speed Code 4 soon and was wondering if I should turn off the Excel Braking while I have access to the hand held. Thanks |

Re: "Excel Braking" question
Going to revive an old thread here, but I am wondering the same thing. I just picked up a 2009 Precedent with the Excel system. Can the regen braking be totally disabled? If so how?
